About Me

Swift Clipps is a new certified, registered and insured, in home dog grooming business, located in Hemford Forest Nova Scotia. Owned and operated by, Josée Langille.

The number One importance in running this business, is the health and safety of your dogs.
I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. From many animal encounters as a young child, growing up with household pets, being in 4-H for many years, to a period working as a veterinary assistant. All has really encouraged me to have a career in the animal industry.
I am Married and have two Toddlers to keep me busy on my off time. I have many pets that include, two cats, a Chameleon, an amazon Parrot, a fish tank, chickens and two border collies. Verb is the smaller smooth coated pictured, and Gunner, who is the oldest and the rough coat pictured. Gunner was the inspiration for opening my own grooming business. 
Gunner has a thick, fluffy, and rough coat. I was very lost on how to groom him, but never actually took him to a professional groomer like I should have. I quickly realized that the first few years of his life, I was doing it all wrong. I started to learn how to properly take care of his coat and knew that I wanted to continue with this education and help other owners learn how to best take care of their dog’s coat at home in between grooming appointments. 
I have recently attended JKL Grooming school and have received a Diploma and hands on practicum training in Professional Dog Grooming. I have experience working under a local mentor. I am also a part of the Atlantic Canada Groomers Association and I devote my work in line with their Code of Ethics. 
I am very passionate about creating a safe and calm environment for your dogs, it can be scary for some dogs to come to a grooming appointment, so I want to make them as comfortable as possible. Check back in the future, as I hope to continue my education and expand my services.
